STEA2M Academy
Monarch Academy aims to bridge the equity gap through exposing students to various STEAM careers. Therefore, our mission is to increase the exposure to STEA2M careers in underprivileged communities. To support this mission, we will create opportunities for student exposure, provide hands-on real-world learning, and reinforce character attributes that promote positive self-image. One of the founding principles of Monarch Academy is that you must know your students in order to teach them. We believe building key and critical relationships with all students is essential to the implementation of school curriculum. We plan to launch our 6 week STEA2M Academy Summer 2025.
To create and maintain a child’s relationship within a STEA2M environment, it is important to foster the three pillars necessary for that child’s growth. Career Development. Our goal is to create a lasting relationship between your child and the STEA2M path of their choice. Here, we strive to turn passions into careers. Leadership and Character Building. In order for children to succeed, they need to strengthen their leadership skills, and their characters to be fully equipped for a STEA2M environment. It is our job at Monarch Academy to help them grow inside and out. Family Engagement. When children leave our care, their relationships with the family is another factor in their growth in STEA2M and in life. Here, we work with families to create stronger familial relationships and engagement within STEA2M.

Our STEAM focused curriculum will model Project Based Learning and to support this principle, learning must be engaging, purposeful, and make a connection to all our students. It will also encompass rigor, challenge, and produce students who are ready to enter into a STEAM workforce.
